Skims, Kim Kardashian's immensely successful shapewear company, is expanding its product range to include a men's line with Neymar Jr. as its new face.
To ensure a strong promotional push for Skims Mens, Kardashian enlisted the help of one of the world's most renowned and influential athletes - Neymar Jr., the 31-year-old Brazilian soccer sensation currently representing Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia.
The decision to collaborate with Neymar Jr. aligns with Kardashian's vision to tap into the popularity and global appeal of the international soccer star.
Skims didn't stop at securing Neymar Jr. for their campaign. The company also managed to sign endorsement deals with other notable sports figures. Nick Bosa, the standout star from the San Francisco 49ers, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the talented player from the OKC Thunder, have joined forces with Skims to further bolster the brand's reach and recognition.
Explaining her vision for the brand, Kardashian said, "To have an icon like Neymar Jr be the face of our launch campaign, along with NBA All-Star, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and NFL’s top Defensive Player Nick Bosa, I think speaks volumes to the way SKIMS has evolved into becoming a brand that can provide comfort for all audiences, not just for women."
The three sports stars are not the only high profile faces of the brand, Kim has recently brought Cardi B, Kim Cattrall, Coco Jones, Hari Neff, Lana Condor, and Nelly Furtado to the brand.
Last week, Cardi B posed for the brand’s soft cotton collection and praised it saying, "It's so sexy and makes me feel snatched yet comfortable while hanging out at home."
"The new styles and colors I wore on set are even better, and I can’t wait to wear them all the time."
