LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain while speaking exclusively to Geo News on Wednesday said that, “If the Rangers conduct the Karachi operation honestly without any bias then it will gradually wash away our wounds.”
Speaking on Hamid Mir’s programme Capital Talk today, Altaf Hussain said, “I will also take care myself to protect the dignity of the institutions.”
The MQM chief while talking to guest Defence Analyst, Shahzad Chaudhry, on Geo News programme Capital Talk, said that Chaudhry should contact Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and request him to tell the Rangers to conduct the operation with integrity.
He added the decision that the party to participate in the upcoming by-elections or not will be taken by him after analysing the establishment’s attitude.
“The Rabita Committee will opt for the majority’s decision,” said Altaf.
‘a tale of 2 resignations’
PTI Chairman Imran Khan, in the meantime, took to the social media and described the prevailing political situation of the country as ‘a tale of 2 resignations’ comparing resignations tendered by MQM MNAs with those of his party members.
