ISLAMABAD: Afghan National Army troops on Sunday evening fired mortar rounds from KK top killing four civilians including two children in north of Niz Narai, military sources said here.

According to immediate news available, today at 1710 hours, Afghan National Army troops fired from post KK top and fired three 122mm mortar rounds and hit one civil vehicle.

Four civilian including two children got killed due to this firing two kilometer north of Niz Narai.

Civilians were going back after collecting firewood from Pakistan side.

Pakistan has lodged strong protest with Afghan government over killing of innocent civilians, the officials said.
