Urs of Baba Gunj Shakar begins

LAHORE: The fifteen-day annual urs celebrations of great sufi saint Hazrat Baba Fareedudin Gunj Shakar has started in Pakpattan on Sunday.

Sajjada Nasheen Diwan Modood Masood Chishti will inaugurate the traditional urs celebration.

Main part of the urs is "Behishti Darwaza" which will be
opened in Muharram-ul-Haram for five days, Auqaf sources said.

District police have made foolproof security arrangements for the
pilgrims, arriving from all the provinces of the country.
