New Zealand 80-3 in first Sri Lanka Test

GALLE: New Zealand were 80-3 at lunch after electing to bat on the opening day of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle on Saturday.

Opener Brendon McCullum was unbeaten on 38 at the break with Daniel Flynn (21 not out).

Pacemen Shaminda Eranga took two wickets and Nuwan Kulasekara one for Sri Lanka.
