Tremors jolt parts of Balochistan

QUETTA: A mild intensity earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale shook parts of Balochistan on Monday, Geo News reported.

According to preliminary reports, the quake was felt in Quetta, Ziarat, Harnai, Chaman, Pasheen, Khanoi, Qallat, Mastaung, Qilla Saifullah and others parts of Balochistan.

Panic gripped the residents of the provincial capital and they came out of their houses. No loss of life or property has been reported so far.

The Meteorological Department said that the magnitude of the quake was recorded 4.5 on the Richter scale with epicenter 60 kilometer in south-east of Quetta.
