‘Influential’ man tortures Geo News staff

KARACHI: Making a mockery of interior ministry’s ban on arm display, an influential man tortured Geo News staff, brandishing arms and hurling threats in broad daylight in Defence area of Karachi on Tuesday.

A man traveling in a double cabin pickup carrying registration number CT-8838 with his armed guards subjected Geo News vehicle driver and other staff to torture after his vehicle bumped into Geo’s vehicle.

The man, whose identity has not been ascertained so far, left the Geo Staff at Gizri Police Station
