Punjab: Pillion riding ban on 9,10 Muharram

LAHORE: Pillion riding has been banned in Punjab on 9,10 Muharram. The decision has been taken in light of security threats being faced.

IG Punjab and other police officials inspected the route of the Muharram procession and informed the media about the security measures which would be in place.

IG Punjab said that apart from ground security aerial surveillance will also be operational during the procession.
