ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for a New World Order during his address at the D8 conference.

Ahmadinejad said the world needs a new order on the basis of justice and humanity. “The creators of the current order cannot play a role in this change,” he said.

The Iranian president added that the era of capitalism had come to an end and the former colonial powers should not be allowed to reassert themselves in the management of the world.

Ahmadinejad also called attention to the Israel-Palestine conflict stating that Israel had been occupying Palestine under false pretext.
