COLOMBO: Sri Lanka were bowled out for 244 in their first innings in reply to New Zealand's 412 on the fourth day of the second and final Test at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo on Wednesday.

Thilan Samaraweera top-scored for Sri Lanka with 76, while paceman Tim Southee bagged five wickets for New Zealand.

Sri Lanka lead the series 1-0 following their 10-wicket victory in the opening Test in Galle.
