PESHAWAR: Capital City Police claimed on Thursday to have arrested 70 outlaws including 18 proclaimed offenders (POs) during raids conducting in various areas of Charsadda, Nowshera and provincial metropolis.

According to details, during the crackdown launched on special directives of Chief Capital City Police, Imtiaz Altaf, police arrested 70 outlaws including 18 POs.

Police also recovered one Kalashnikov, 4 rifles, 20 pistols, 118 Kg hashish and 26 bottles of liquor from their hideouts.

Cases have been registered against the arrested persons and investigations are underway.
