KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has termed remarks of a Supreme Court judge over delimitation of constituencies in Karachi as unconstitutional, undemocratic and biasd, Geo news reported.
The MQM supremo demanded of President Asif Ali Zardraim Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and other judges of the apex court to take notice of the judge’s remarks. He also called for action against the judge under the Constitution.
Mr Hussain was addressing a gathering of party’s MNAs, MPAs, Senators and legal experts.
He said that the remarks were a bid to breakup mandate of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in Karachi.
Hussain said that the comments were not only biasd but also tantamount to pit different ethnic groups against each other in the city.
