Explosives recovered, five arrested in Quetta

QUETTA: The Frontier Corp recovered a huge quantity of explosives from a bus on the outskirts of the provincial city on Sunday here, Geo News reported.

Frontier Corp spokesman said that FC stopped a suspected bus near Akhtarabad in the outskirts of Quetta and on search recovered in the range of six to seven thousand kilograms of explosives, while five accused were arrested.

The area was cordoned off by the FC while security at checkpoints has been enhanced.
