ISLAMABAD: Nuclear scientist AQ Khan’s political party Tehreek-e-Tahafuzz Pakistan has requested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to assign a missile as the party’s election symbol.

According to sources, the Tehreek-e-Tahafuzz sent a request to the ECP one week ago to allot the missile as the symbol of the party in the upcoming general elections.

The Election Commission will make a decision regarding the symbol during its next meeting.
