DALLAS: Sabira Khatoon, the mother of Shah Alam Siddiqui, the famous and well known literary figure and journalist and poet, has passed away in Karachi.

She was suffering from lungs ailment for a long time. She was laid to rest in their family graveyard located at Colony Gate, in the presence of hundreds of mourners. She was 93 years old.

She has left behind two daughters and 2 sons namely Wakil Ahamad Siddiqui and Shah Alam Siddiqui. Shah Alam Siddiqui is the youngest son.

On the other hand, the leading personalities condoled the death of Shah Alam Siddiqui's mother. While expressing their deep sorrow and grief, they have prayed for late Sabira Khatoon for her placement in paradise.

They have also prayed that God may grant patient to the bereaved family.

In the meantime, Shah Alam Siddiqui has appealed to the community to pray for her mother and God forgiveness. Also the Co-Chairman of the Muslim Democratic Caucus of America Syed Fayaz Hassan , Chairman of MCDC State of Texas Aftab Siddiqui, The President of PCDFW Akrama Khan, the Director of SADW Dr. Qaiser Abbas, Raja Zahid Khanzada, journalist, Barrister Taufiq kamal, the Kashmiri leader Raja Muzzafr Kashmiri, the President of Karakuram Thinker Forum Siraj Butt , Dr. Amir Suleman founder of Urdu Ghar Dallas, and Dallas popular poets Nadir Durrani, Masood Qazi, Noor Amrohvi, and Saeed Qureshi and others have condoled the death of the mother of Shah Alam Siddiqui by expressing their extreme grief.

They have also prayed for the departed soul for her "Maghfirat".
