4 killed in attacks on WHO polio teams in Karachi

KARACHI: Four women were killed during attacks on World Health Organization (WHO) polio teams here. Two male workers of the polio teams were also injured in the attacks.

The attacks took place in the Landhi and Orangi Town areas of Karachi.

Following the attacks, Provincial Health Secretary Dr Sageer Ahmed issued a statement which said that the WHO polio drive had been stopped in Karachi.
