BAIKONUR: A Soyuz spacecraft carrying Russian, American and Canadian astronauts blasted off from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan bound for the International Space Station (ISS), an AFP correspondent reported.

The Soyuz TMA-O7M spacecraft took off according on schedule at 1212 GMT carrying Russian Roman Romanenko, American Thomas Marshburn and Canadian Chris Hadfield. (AFP)
