Drake Bell recently revealed the song that he wrote about the sexual assault he endured as a child actor.
The 37-year-old actor/singer’s confession comes after he appeared on Investigation Discovery's new docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV in which he alleged that dialogue coach Brian Peck sexually abused him when he was 15.
The former Nickelodeon actor took to his TikTok and shared that his 2005 song In the End,from debut album Telegraph, was "about what had happened."
Drake posted a video of himself listening to a few verses of the song as he captioned the video: "Wrote this song when I was 15 about what happened before I said anything to anyone."
The audio playing included lyrics like, "Wake up / It's time to get your things together and drive away / Breathe out, future days will treat you better / That's what they say / Another day gone without a say / But it's okay if you turn [around]."
The Drake and Josh alum shared that at that time he wrote music to cope with his traumatic experience.
