Police arrest 31 absconders,175 suspects

PESHAWAR: The city police in a crackdown on anti state elements Thursday arrested 31 absconders and 175 suspects while recovering ammunition and drugs from their possession.

On directives of CCPO Peshawar Imtiaz Altaf, the police conducted raids in different areas and arrested 31 absconders and 175 suspects involved in various crimes.

The police under the supervision of SSP Imran Shahid also recovered nine AK-47, 11 Kalashnikovs, 37 rifles, 30 pistols, five kilogram Charras and six bottles of liquor from the criminals and registered cases against them.
