Afghan policewoman shoots NATO adviser

KABUL: A female Afghan police officer on Monday shot and wounded a NATO adviser in Kabul police headquarters, in an apparent "green-on-blue" attack, the first of its kind by a woman, officials said.

"A female in police uniform has shot and wounded a foreign adviser in Kabul police department," Sediq Seidiqqi, an interior ministry spokesman told AFP.
