Motorway closed as foggy conditions persist in Punjab

LAHORE: The Motorway has been closed for vehicular traffic as thick fog continued to cover parts of Punjab for the forth consecutive day, Geo News reported.

The Motorway police said in a late night statement that the road had been closed from Lahore to Pindi Bhattian interchange from where traffic was being diverted to the Grand Trunk (GT) road.

The police said that the Motorway had been closed due to zero visibility.

They advised people to be careful and switch on lights while driving. They also requested people to stay home and avoid unnecessary traveling.
