Pakistan's legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram has finally revealed his morning routine and eating habits that keep him fit and healthy even after so many years after bidding adieu to the pitch.

Taking to his account on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, the former pacer on Tuesday shared a video explaining that he wakes up early in the morning which is followed by a morning walk.

"I woke up at 6:30am, had six units of insulin, drank coffee and then went for a morning walk," he said.

Revealing that he walked for around 8.5 kilometres, Akram moved on to his breakfast which included low-fat yoghurt coupled with fruits such as Bananas, blueberries, muesli, and "bird food" i.e., raisins and nuts.

"After this breakfast, I'll have a lot more energy," he said, adding that he will head off to the gym after that.

Saying that people from Pakistan, India might notice him not having nihari and naan (flatbread), the veteran cricketer said that he doesn't consume such a diet.

"I don't eat that. This is my breakfast and the healthiest one," he noted.
