Intra-party election, declaration of assets mandatory for participation: ECP

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced that parties which do not hold intra-party elections and declare their assets will not be able to take part in the general election.

According to a notification issued by the ECP, parties will only be issued election symbols after intra-party elections and declaration of assets.
