LAHORE: The CNG stations in Lahore and Multan regions would remain closed for the sixth consecutive day on Saturday, adding to the miseries of people, Geo News reported.

The CNG stations were to reopen on Thursday but closure was extended owing to low gas pressure and to ensure undisrupted gas supply to the domestic consumers.

The people of both regions have been facing difficulties in traveling as most of the public transport went off roads due to CNG closure.

The All Pakistan CNG Association has convened an emergency meeting to chalk-out future course of action in the wake of prolonged gas closures.

In Sindh, the CNG stations which had been closed for 48 hours would reopen on Sunday.
