'Harry Potter' star Warwick Davis grieves the passing of wife Samantha Davis

Warwick Davis, the iconic Harry Potter actor, shared a tribute for his beloved wife Samantha Davis, who sadly passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 55.

Warwick mourned the loss of his longtime companion and partner, in a statement released through Lucasfilm,

Describing her as ‘soul-mate’, ‘best friend’ and ‘devoted mother’, he wrote, “My favourite human. My most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career, has passed”.

“Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs", he added.

Praising her ‘unique character’, the actor mourned, “She instilled such confidence in me. With her by my side, I was sure I could achieve anything. It was like having a super-power".

While the 54-year-old actor revealed that her “mobility had become impaired” in recent years, the cause of her death remains to be disclosed.

“She was determined that it would not impact her quality of life and limit what she did and was able to achieve.”, he mentioned.

The couple shared two children, who also joined their father in remembering their late mother as they wrote, “Our Mum is the kindest, most inspirational and loving Mumma we could of wished for”.

“Mum is our best friend and we’re honoured to have received a love like hers”, wrote Annabelle and Harrison Davis.

Warwick met the Little People UK founder on the set of Willow, three years before tying the know in 1991.
