Drake’s new track is here to put a dent on the success of Taylor Swift’s new album The Tortured Poets Department.

The 34-year-old pop star released her 11th studio record on April 19 which was shortly followed by 15 extra songs as it turned out to be a “surprise” double album.

"It’s a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album,” Taylor penned on her Instagram account.

She had added, “I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.”

However, shortly after the release, Drake dropped a diss track in which he took aim at Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift fans.

In his song Push Up, the Canadian musician rapped, “Pull your contract 'cause we gotta see the split / The way you doin' splits, b**ch, your pants might rip / You better do that motherf***in' show inside the bity.”

“Maroon 5 need a verse, you better make it witty / Then we need a verse for the Swifties,” he continued.
