WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow users to add messages to notes conveniently in a bid to empower business users, who will have to wait until the next update for that feature to be integrated, the Meta-owned app said in a report.

WhatsApp Business is in the process of testing a new feature that would allow users to promptly add specific messages to notes, set to be introduced in an upcoming app update, WABetaInfo reported.

This feature will be handily accessible from the message options, enabling users to attach chosen messages to notes with minimal hassle.

Rather than manually creating notes from the chat info screen, users will now have the option to directly add selected messages to their notes. It's important to note, that it appears to be tailored primarily for business users and may not be immediately available to standard users.

“The shortcut to add specific messages to notes adds a layer of convenience to the user experience, as it will allow businesses to easily capture and reference pertinent details shared within conversations without opening the chat info screen," the report said.

It added that by simply selecting the desired message and opting to attach it to a note, businesses would be able to save important details without having to manually input information.
