Rangers patrol streets surrounding MQM headquarters

KARACHI: Rangers personnel arrived at Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine Zero on Thursday evening and started patrolling the streets surrounding the area.

According to reports 10-12 Rangers personnel arrived in two mobiles and started patrolling the streets on foot. The personnel also patrolled Jinnah Ground and Lal Qilla Ground.

The Rangers arrived at Nine Zero at a time when MQM leaders were holding a news conference at Khursheed Memorial Secretariat.

A spokesman for the MQM said the Rangers personnel passed from outside the Khursheed Memorial Secretariat and the party’s MPA hostel and then left.
