Babar Azam gets luxury car as gift for outstanding performance in PSL 2024

In recognition of his outstanding perforce throughout the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9, Peshawar Zalmi’s owner Javed Afridi on Monday gifted a luxury car to his franchise’s skipperBabar Azam.
In a post shared by Afridi on his X handle (formerly Twitter), Babar can be seen sitting inside his car next to Afridi.
Babar was the highest scorer of the tournament. In 11 innings, he scored 569 runs at an average of 56.90 with the help of five 50s and a 100.
Zalmi was the hot favourites to win the tournament but lost both the knockout games against Multan Sultans and Islamabad United respectively.
It must be noted Babar is currently leading the Pakistan side against New Zealand in the five-match T20I series.
The series is level at 1-1 with two matches remaining at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
During the third T20I which Pakistan lost by seven wickets, Babar surpassed Aaron Finch to become the leading run-getter as T20I captain.

Babar is Pakistan's leading run-getter in this format. In 105 innings, he has scored 3749 runs with the help of 33 fifties and three centuries.
Remember, he was reappointed as captain in white-ball formats before the start of the New Zealand series while Shaheen Afridi was removed just after the one series.
