No mobile phone suspension in Karachi on New Year night: Malik

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said Monday that mobile phone services would not be suspended in Karachi on New Year night.

Earlier the Sindh Home Department imposed a three day ban on pillion riding in the city along with prohibiting carrying licensed weapons.

According to a notification, the ban on pillion riding will be strictly enforced and motorcycles without silencers will not be allowed to operate.
