Lahore: CNG pumps closed for three days

LAHORE: Following the gas loadshedding schedule, the CNG stations would remain closed for three consecutive days from today in Lahore region, Geo News reported on Monday.

The CNG pumps resumed filling gas cylinders only for 24 hours after six days of closure and were again shut at 6 am today. Motorists spent nights at CNG stations waiting for their turns in long queues.

Despite the announcement of opening the stations by Sui Northern Pipelines, most filling pumps remained closed on Sundays while some motorist were forced to fill cylinders with gas available at black price.

Citizens, who are tired of CNG hide and seek, have demanded government to take a permanent decision or to end gas pumps permanently.
