Zendaya says the three-way kiss scene was unsexy from the actors’ point of view
The three-way kiss of Challengers is capturing the internet's interest for being extremely steamy but Zendaya's latest comment might put water to a raging heat.
In a chat with Yahoo Entertainment, the Euphoria actress provided the behind-the-scenes context explaining there were people other than them and the scene was highly choreographed contrary to the spontaneous impulse that was shown on the screen.
"While people just see the three of us, our view is a camera, boom — there's a whole group of [people], we're in that room doing it together,” the 27-year-old shared.
"With those scenes in general, they are very technical," the Emmy winner continued. "The camera is involved. ... They are the fourth person. It's truly a lot more technical and put together more than people maybe understand ... Everything is choreographed, like a dance in many ways."
Further, the Dune star credited the vibrant chemistry, the help of the intimacy coordinator, and the directing skill of Luca Guadagnino to make the motel scene a super hit.
Challengers will hit the cinemas on April 26.
