Zoë Kravitz recently dropped trailer for her directorial debut film, Blink Twice, starring fiancé Channing Tatum.

In the film, Channing Tatum plays Slater King, a tech billionaire who lures two women, played by Naomi Ackie and Alia Shawkat, to his private island under the pretense of a weekend getaway with friends.

The trailer released on Tuesday opens up with the scene of King's mansion engulfed in flames and a bloodied King declaring, "So, everybody's dead."

On Instagram, Tatum posted the trailer of the film with the caption stating, "You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do… #BlinkTwiceMovie #August23"

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Tatum expressed that his character in this film is darker than any he has portrayed before.

He said, "We are definitely exploring some very uncomfortable themes, and, I don't want to give away too much, but I've definitely never played a character like [this]. It was scary to play, because it's definitely going to be a talk piece when it comes out."

Blink Twice, scheduled to release on August 23, also stars Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Christian Slater, Kyle MacLachlan, Geena Davis, Saul Williams, and Simon Rex.
