Christina Applegate got candid about her Covid-19 infection that lead to a Sapovirus diagnosis and diapers.

Recently, on the MeSsy podcast she co-hosts with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, the Friends actress first described how she got COVID-19 which led to her diagnosis of Sapovirus.

She first explained getting Coronavirus through a ‘close friend’ who “dropped the ball and went to a bowling alley, and came home with the stuff”.

The 52-year-old then shared that the illness developed into long-term COVID where she experienced a chest infection and her “heart doing weird stuff where it speeds up” all of a sudden.

While Christina initially thought she had fought COVID like a ‘Viking’, she later experienced “p****** out of [her] a** for a few days to the point where [she] was so dizzy.”

“I was so sick, I couldn't eat, I couldn't [do] anything”.

However, after a stool test it was disclosed that the actress was suffering from symptoms of Sapovirus.

“It is when you ingest the faecal matter of someone else from your food”, the mother of one explained, "Someone else's poop went into my mouth and I ate it."

“I'm almost going on three weeks of being sick from this. So that's my fun story”, she added before commenting that she might have contracted the virus from a tainted salad at a restaurant.
