Matty Healy has finally shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Since the album's release, fans have speculated that Taylor's ex, Matty, might be the subject of some of its tracks.

According to a PEOPLE report, Healy was approached by paparazzi in Los Angeles on Tuesday, where he was questioned about how he would rate his so-called 'Taylor diss track.'

He responded humorously, stating, "My diss track? Oh! I haven't really listened to much of it, but I'm sure it's good."

The album, rumoured to include references to Healy, has fueled theories about their past romance.

For instance, the track Guilty as Sin? mentions a 1989 synth-pop song by The Blue Nile, Healy's favorite band, hinting at a personal connection.

Additionally, the Lover hitmaker's lyrics in The Tortured Poets Department about a typewrite, where she sings, "you left your typewriter at my apartment / Straight from the Tortured Poets Department / I think some things I never say / Like, ‘Who uses typewriters anyway?" might hint at Healy, who has expressed his preference for using typewriters for writing.

During an interview with GQ in 2018, Healy said, "The thing is with typewriters, and writing with pen to paper, there’s a kind of an element of commitment that goes with the ceremony of it… It requires you to concentrate a bit better."
