Victoria Monét talks health struggles amid Coachella: ‘Really messed up'

Victoria Monét has opened up about her health battle and reasoned her changed look in Coachella.

Taking to her Instagram profile, the singer revealed that she’s battling with PCOS, which caused her weight gain. Although ‘frustrated’ with the diagnosis, the mother of one also found a silver lining amid crises.

Sharing a picture of herself during her Coachella performance, the Girs Need Love singer can be seen posing on stage against a background of the night sky and a shining moon.

She penned the caption, “Welp.. I gained a lot of weight and it went a lot of places lol face, arms, tummy and most effectively… datassss”.

The Georgia native then revealed the reason behind her weight gain and shared, “I usually am so critical and frustrated by it because PCOS has me really messed up” before jokingly adding, “But optimistically at least now there’s two moons on the stage”.

However, the Grammy winner’s admission to health struggle has received immense support and love from fans, inspiring them to find strength in the face of challenges.

Taking to X, one fan wrote, “Victoria Monet has PCOS? I’m so thankful she’s speaking up. This made me love her even more”.

While another echoed, “Learning that Victoria Monet also has PCOS just made me feel less insecure about my health”.

A third user also chimed in and added, “ victoria monet has pcos too?!? Just got tears in my eyes wtf I hate that for her but so happy to have some successful representation” (sic) .
