Sean "Diddy" Combs’ alleged drug mule has been charged with a severe offense following his arrest last month.

Brendan Paul was taken into police custody for cocaine and marijuana possession after the rapper’s former videographer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones named him in his sexual assault lawsuit, claiming that he’d “acquire and distribute drugs and guns” for Diddy.

However, Brendan’s attorney Brian Bieber entered a plea of not guilty in a "very brief" hearing in Miami and told PEOPLE, "We will be dealing with this case in the courtroom, not the court of public opinion."

Moreover, the outlet reported that Brendan was taken into custody by police officers working alongside Homeland Security agents who raided Diddy’s two homes around the same time that day.

The raid came after five people accused the music executive of sexual assault in the past several months with the most recent one being on February 27.

In his lawsuit filed at the New York federal court, Lil Rod also alleged that Diddy sexually harassed, drugged and threatened him for more than a year when he used to work as a producer and videographer for him.
