Nicole Kidman teased a third season of 'Big Little Lies'
The Big Little Lies costars gaveitsfans a nostalgic throwback with its unexpected reunion.
During the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute,Nicole Kidman reunited with her costars Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 27.
The Big Little Lies costars attended the Award event to support Nicole, as she became the first Australian actor to receive the AFI Life Achievement Award.
The trio captured posing with Nicole on the red carpet who gathered 5 years after the hit HBO drama to celebrate the Dead Calm actress’ achievement.
Moreover, in honor of his former costar and friend, Witherspoon also gave a speech at the gala as other guests Zac Efron, Naomi Watts and Kidman's husband Keith Urban also joined in speeches.
It is pertinent to mention that Kidman revealed to Vogue Australia that her daughter, 15-year-old Sunday Rose recently watched Big Little Lies and was ready for her to make a third season.
Furthermore, in November 2023, she teased a third season of Big Little Lies during a fan event, as seen in a video shared on Instagram by DeuxMoi,
“All of you watched it and made it a massive success,” the star said “And we will be bringing you a third one, just FYI.”
For those unversed, Big Little Lies was based on Liane Moriarty’s book of the same name and the series premiered in 2017 followed by a second season in 2019.
