Rocky Balboa running to the Philadelphia Museum of Art's stairs was the iconic scene of the 1976 film that inspired Sylvester Stallone to write a memoir titled The Steps to tell his story.

The book is said to draw a parallel to Arnold Schwarzenegger's work Be Useful as Page Six reports the publishing houses are fiercely competing with each other for the rights.

However, it is reported HarperCollins' imprint William Morrow will be going ahead with the launch of the tome in 2025.

"The Steps will offer readers not only riveting anecdotes from one of Hollywood's biggest stars but also invaluable insights and practical wisdom that will inspire and resonate for generations to come," an insider told the outlet.

The source continued, "Since the release of Rocky in 1976, what has unfolded is an extraordinary love affair between Sly and the world, a unique bond that has lasted for over five decades and speaks to Sly's remarkable ability to uplift and motivate."

Doubling down on Sylvester's connection with Philadelphia, particularly the steps of the museum, they said, "The famous 72 steps in Philadelphia featured in the movie Rocky have become symbolic of resilience and determination, and have inspired countless individuals."
