Jimmy Fallon finally addresses viral Nicole Kidman interview

Jimmy Fallon just opened up about the hilarious aftermath the infamous interview of him with Nicole Kidman had.

In a podcast by Deadline, referring to the 2015 conversation the host had with the Paddington actress on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,he discussed the misunderstanding that occurred between the two stars.

Fallon revealed that they had once gone on a date, which left him completely “blindsided.”

“Nicole Kidman totally blindsided me on my show. We were just there to talk about one of her movies or something she was going to win an award for. She was great and she looked amazing and we were talking and she goes, ‘Did you know that we dated?’” he said.

Fallon recalled being embarrassed, continuing, “And I go, ‘Excuse me?’ She goes, ‘Do you remember like I had a crush on you and I came over to your apartment?’ And my face just melted. It was the most embarrassing thing.”

Addressing the responses to the interview later on, the late-night show host discussed Kidman’s husband Keith Urban, calling him a “good sport” between whom, this interview has become a friendly inside joke.
