Zendaya admits steamy scenes with Josh & Mike felt easy in 'Challengers'

Zendaya opened up about the famous three-way kiss scene with co-stars Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist in Challengers.

The film premiered on April 26, 2024, and has been making headlines ever since the release of its trailer, especially due to the intimate scenes.

In Challengers, Zendaya plays the role of a former tennis prodigy, Tashi, who pivots to coaching her husband, Art, played by Mike Faist, to tennis stardom after a career-halting injury.

However, the plot thickens as Art competes against his childhood friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend, Patrick, played by Josh O'Connor, setting the stage for a complex love triangle.

In an interview with The Sun, Zendaya expressed how grateful she felt to work with O'Connor and Faist, stating, "I got lucky that they're both just lovely guys. They were kind and generous with their work and their time, so that made it easy."

The actress shared insights into the preparation for their roles, which included extensive tennis training and rehearsal time.

"We had a tremendous amount of tennis training, we worked out beside each other. We did tennis training and we had rehearsal time, which is a privilege — you know, to be able to have that time to talk about the characters and really dig into it. And that just created more of a safety net," Zendaya shared.
