Sabrina Carpenter revealed the inspiration behind her hit track Espresso.

The 24-year-old singer’s new track which reached number seven of the Top 100, and also skyrocketed to the top new entry of the week, according to the World Music Awards.

Now, taking to her Instagram story, Sabrina shared an old tweet of hers from the time she was 15-years-old.

"Ppl r always scared to give me caffeine!!!? I don't know whyyyyy those little espresso things taste so cute and I likemmmm," the post read.

The screenshot was dated back to March 16, 2016, eight years before the release of Sabrina's latest hit which she debuted at Coachella earlier this month.

Other than Espresso, she also crooned her song Nonsense at the music festival, however, she tweaked the lyrics in a shout out to her boyfriend Barry Keoghan.

Sabrina altered the outro of the song and gave a prominent shoutout to the 31-year-old actor’s scene in Saltburn.

In a video of her performance, she can be seen singing, “He’s drinking my bath water like it’s red wine. Coachella see you back here when I headline.”
