Zendaya spills the beans on ‘hilarious' 'Challengers' production change

Zendaya recently weighed in on her ‘hilarious’ dance scene from new movie, Challengers.

For the unfamiliar, Zendaya depicts the role of a former tennis prodigy, Tashi, who coaches her husband, Art, portrayed by Mike Faist, to compete against her ex-boyfriend and his childhood pal, Patrick, portrayed by Josh O'Connor.

In a recent chat with USA Today, Zendaya and the flick’s director Luca Guadagnino dished details about a scene from the movie in which Tashi dances to Hot in Herre after winning a tennis tournament.

Speaking of the scene, Luca told the outlet, "We wanted her to look like a goddess, not knowing she is a goddess.”

He also shared, “We wanted her to encompass an irresistible, ungraspable beauty and power."

Recalling the shoot, the girlfriend of Tom Holland also mentioned that Luca "was like, ‘I’m pushing into you.’ It’s the dream girl push-in.”

“He was like, ‘Just take your time and dance with yourself,' so that’s what I tried to do,” she continued with a laugh.

The actress even disclosed that she originally danced to Time Will Crawl, but the track was changed later.

Branding the experience "hilarious," she also claimed, "It would’ve been a different style of dance, let’s just say that” after which they moved on to a new topic.
