Chris Hemsworth becomes angry over fake news

Wrong spin on his health concerns, Chris Hemsworth says, made him furious after the discovery of his genetic predisposition for Alzheimer's became a hub for rumours with the help of misleading headlines.

Expressing his anger in the interview with Vanity Fair, the Thor star said those headlines wrongly suggested he was retiring after health issues.

“It really kind of pissed me off because it felt like I had been vulnerable with something personal and shared this,” he said.

Chris continued, “No matter how much I said, ‘This is not a death sentence,’ the story became that I have dementia and I’m reconsidering life and retiring and so on.”

Despite these misleading headlines, the Marvel star still found humour in them. “I did read a really funny comment at the bottom of one article: ‘I hope Chris forgets he’s retiring and comes back.’”

Previously, Chris revealed to the outlet that his possibility of developing Alzheimer's is high after genetic testing.
