Kim Kardashian explained her Met Gala outfit to those who were taken aback by it.

The reality TV star arrived at the 2024 Met Gala at Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, on Monday wearing a custom-design dress by Maison Margiela Couture.

Moreover, Kim also wore a gray sweater over her shoulders which gave her overall ensemble a casual look.

During her conversation with Vogue, the SKIMS mogul explained that she has a backstory for the strange layer of fabric.

Kim shared that the look was inspired by “the wildest night of her life in a garden.”

“I just ran out and grabbed my boyfriend’s sweater and threw it on and had to get to work. And my hair is all messed up,” she said.
