22 killed, 65 injured in Swat IED Explosion

MINGORA: At least 22 people were killed in what was earlier percieved to be a cylinder blast at the Tableeghi Markaz located on Takht Band Road. Police later confirmed that the explosion was an Improvised Explosive Device.

Atleast sixty five people were injured in the explosion and were shifted to the Saidu Sharif hospital. Several injured said to be in critical condition.

The area was cordoned off by police and security officials following the explosion.
