KARACHI: An blast ripped through a mini mart of a petrol station located on Khayaban-e-Ittehad here on Monday, injuring four people, Geo News reported.

According to sources, fire broke out at the station following the explosion that hurt four people at Khayaban-e-Ittehad petrol pump at 10 am today. Three injured were shifted to a hospital near Qayyumabad while another with severe injuries was shifted to Jinnah Hospital.

Dr Seemi Jamali told that 23-year-old Hashmatullah has received third degree burn injuries and is in critical condition.

Police said that the nature of the blast is being ascertained.
