Israel partially unfreezes Palestinian fund

JERUSALEM: Israel announced on Wednesday it has unfrozen $100 million of the Palestinian Authority's funds, which it blocked last November after it won observer status at the United Nations.

"This decision was taken by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu because of
the Palestinian Authority's very difficult financial situation," said a
spokesman for his office.
