Karachi: Cellular services suspended from 12-3 PM

KARACHI: Mobile phone services have been suspended in Karachi from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik had announced that cellular services in Karachi would remain suspended as part of security plans.

Talking to Geo news, the interior minister said that the decision has been taken in a wake of terror threats.

Malik said that all the stakeholders have been taken onboard on law and order situation of Karachi and the arrangements are being made to improve police patrolling.

He said that terrorists are trying to destablise the country by spreading unrest.

The minister directed to beef up security at Mosques. He also assured that the killers of clerics in Karachi would soon be arrested.
