‘Bomb’ turns out to be a washing machine timer

KARACHI: A ‘bomb’ which was found on a street in Mominabad area of Orangi town turned out to be a washing machine timer, police said.

According to the police, the bomb disposal squad was called in to defuse ‘the bomb’. The squad cleared the area by declaring it a washing machine timer.

Earlier, police blocked both sides of the road for traffic while considering any possible terror plot.
